I think the seller is confused about terminology. He uses example, inlay, and insert as descriptors for this item. Size is not mentioned, but if it is a loose inlay, I don't think it could be from a BudJones chip. An insert would be a piece of clay "inserted" during manufacture to make colored edge spots on the chip and is unlikely to be seen separate from the chip it was made for.

If these loose inlays are out there, I predict there will be other chips on the market shortly that look just like the $28,000 chip from the jewelry box.
