If you play in the Tuesday or Thursday night poker tournament, they give you a coupon good for $20 in free chips. However, you must buy in in live play after you play in the tournament to get the free chips. You must also be seated at the time. They give you 20 of these teal chips. Now, you must use these chips first, before you use the regular $1 house chips. When they go into the pot, they are immediately taken out by the dealer and replaced with regular $1 house chips. The dealer is responsible for getting the 20 chips back. If there is a dealer change they are accounted for separately. You cannot get up and go to another table with these teal chips. They are very hard to get out of the casino! When they saw the dealer was short a few at my table they went nuts! They stopped play and looked all over the place for them. They questioned each player if they know what happened to the missing chips. I have not seen the tremendous accountability of NCV chips like this before.
