Over 6.000 Individual chips e-bay items

In 4 months i'm in this hobby i've seen E-bay auctions rise from 4.000 to 6.200 items.
I dont know how many items were posted in the recent past, i think this it's a growing market, maybe someone will correct me if i'm wrong.
Besides that, i've seen many many e-bay stores full of overpriced items they didn't sell. And the same old e-bay trick of last second offering (they call this "sniping" or "snipering").
I think in the next future we will see maybe more chips auctions, but prices are going up too fast. If you dont see what really goes and what remains without offers, when you ask for a price you risk to be out of the market. I know ebay fees and paypal fees are expensive, but too many times i see mail fees so high to be ridicolous. I can tolerate a little more of the stamp for packaging, i can tolerate something more for paypal fees, but $26,75 for a bubbled envelope with a stamp of $8,80 (with the chips left free inside) it's too much, just to make and example. Obviously this is strictly bond with the single chip price, if you sell one new (2005-2008) $5 chip at, let's say, $7,50, i think you're ok, but i would like to overpay no more than $1 to $5 for an envelope with 5 to 20 chips.
Do you agree?
