In Response To: Re: What is H.N.O.? ()

certainly have no first-hand information. However, it seems that Robert Maheu has stated, both publicly and I believe under oath, that he created HNO as a convenience to being able to run Hughes' Nevada interests. He states that it was not a legal entity, just him creating the name, the stationary, his title and just functioning under that name without push-back from anyone.

A search of Google ("Hughes Nevada Operations") turns up many references to various books, where the term is used in conjunction with Maheu. There are also several legal pleadings where Maheu is identified as the CEO of HNO and newspaper accounts. It is based on those references that I am willing to believe that the HNO on the chips are the same reference. Certainly not proof, but if not "Hughes Nevada Operations" what do you think the HNO might stand for?

Respectfully,

Jim F.
