Paul-son removed "Royal Blue" from their list of offered colors several years ago. I never heard why, but sample-sets that salesmen carried no longer had the color and collectors found that this color was difficult to get in hot-stamped samples for their collection.

My guess is that the dye is unstable and migrates very easily during use in the casino.
