Just mix up a lot of small stamps on the envelope

No USPS employee is going to add up 7 different denominations to see if they match the new rules. Many of them can't add numbers in their head anyway. I've seen clerks pull out a hand calculator to add 41c to 17c [g].

I like 41 +4 +4 +5 +5 +10 +11 to get to 80c. You may have to buy envelopes bigger than 000 though, to give you enough room for all the stamps. Size 0 envelopes are usually cheaper than 000's anyway.

In addition, at least 1/3 of the bubble mailers I receive with chips in them don't have the stamps cancelled... so I'm pretty sure nobody looked at postage.
