I wonder why the Wednesday trade session was cancelled? Was a reason given?

For the last several conventions I have been at a table and, therefore, I would be at the Wednesday set up. However, I always put aside time to visit the trade session, more just to say hello than anything else. Actually the Wednesday session is the only one I have attended the last couple of years. I'll miss it.
