Bin Laden was in The Sudan at one point during the Clinton administration, and the government of The Sudan offered to detain Bin Laden for Bill Clinton to bring him here. Clinton turned the offer down. The guy was offered to us on a silver platter. 3,000 lives lost were a direct result of an incredibly ignorant decision by Bill Clinton. Not taking that offer is quite different from not being able to find Bin Laden in the tribal regions of Pakistan. Putting another Clinton in a position to being able to make the same decisions in this country would render the same results, though I suspect the next attack would/will be much more catastrophic.
