I do not disagree with you that error chips can certainly be in that range, but when you say "chips like this" do you mean mis-matched denominations on say a Dunes, or a Mint, or other casino with a great deal of cache in their name, or do you mean a chip of equal error (a $5/$1 mis-match) from a lesser known Strip casino with a chip made in the 1998 time-frame by Paul-Son when QC was an issue?

There is a big difference between the estimate I am giving and the estimate you are giving, unless you are not really giving an estimate and instead you are just telling us what you have seen in the past for apples, when this might be an orange. Please let us know so that we can adjust our own evaluations on items such as this. And just in case your statement is not an estimate of value, I think we owe it to the owner of the chip to tell him to, Take a breath!
