I was going to a wake for a friend of mine mother when I got news that
the same friend lost his only two children in an automobile accident.
both brother and sister instantly.aged 19 and 22.
these children were my children before I had children of my own.
My kids are exactly 10 years younger than both of his kids (9 and 12)

Kaitlyns surgery is march 13 and she will have a screw removed that helps straighten her foot
and they will remove an osteochondroma (tumor) also breack the tibula and phibula and
put a plate there to also straighter out the leg so she can walk straight.
She is a trooper and makes it easy for us to deal with the surgerys she has.
six surgery's so far.she will have them as long as she keeps growing.
My wife has the same and has had 30 surgery's.
Kaitlyns surgery is covered by insurance but she heard us talk about taking time off work
and losing money.Not enough o break us but she just heard it and didn't understand,
We feel bad about the surgeries but, as a cop you probably know
when you walk into a children's hospital and see kids way worse than your own you pony up and think I got off lite.There are kids here that will never walk or run.
We pull ourselves together and I usually give blood while Im there.
