Last week I made a post about a large group of Prototype/Sample Matchbook covers that I recently purchased. I purchased the lot hoping to get lots of Houston and Galveston books of which there were very few. As a result, I am breaking the large group into smaller catagories and offering them here on the board.

I just received a package today that contains about 400 matchbooks that are attached to cards directly from Diamond Match Company.
Many of them I would consider to be prototypes or samples as they are marked up with notes and most have no strikers attached.

The cards show exactly when they were printed and who ordered them. They appear to all be tated from the mid 50's to mid 60's.

Unfortunately VERY few were casinos. However there are LOTS or Restaraunts, Nightclubs and Bars.

I will probably be selling off groups of the ones I dont want and will group them into destinct areas like.

1) Automotive
2) Industrial
3) Political (Mostly State and Local)
4) Military
5) Restaraunts
6) Liquer/Beer advertising
7) Other groups as I uncover them.
