I clean quite a few of my chips especially if it won't damage them. Some dirty old worn H&C chips actually look better if they are not cleaned. You seem to lose all detail in the H&C area when the dirt is gone. With Chipcos and BJ chips there is little to decide - they are easy to clean and look better.
