I was playing 1/2 limit hold-em for 2 hrs last night, and saw the craziest streak of cards. It started when my girlfriend hit 4 8's (2 pocket). THE VERY NEXT HAND: the person before her hit 4 Jacks while 3 other people at the table(including myself) hit full houses.(i threw mine away whe mrs.4-jacks re-raised me, but the other 2 people piad her). THREE HANDS LATER: The person before me hit 4 aces (2 pocket). then two hands later, myself and the person on my right were both dealt pocket 8's(we split pot). all in about 10 minutes. in the two hours I was there had 2 full houses, 4 flushes(2 lost to an FH) and several straits (three of which lost), and 3 other people at the table were getting the same/better cards(especially the lady on my R...she shoulda bought a lottery ticket). whe even had about 5 possible jackpot hands, 2 of which missed by 1 card, I wouldnt be surprised if someone hit it after we left. I've only been playing 2 yaers, but i've never seen/heard anything like it.
