That's the old Glass Crutch, all right, Mark, but it's a lot closer to Highway 50 than several hundred yards. More like 200 feet - very easily accessible from the main casino area.

Anyone who's interested in Tahoe history and has a little extra time available should check out the Thunderbird Lodge on the east shore of the lake, about halfway between Stateline and Crystal Bay. http://www.thunderbirdlodge.org/ It wasn't a casino, but the owner, George Whittell, used to whisk high rollers over from the Cal-Neva to play poker at his place. He eventually sold his boat, the Thunderbird, to Bill Harrah. They offers tours for much of the year. The picture below was taken at the lodge. Pretty nice view for breakfast. grin
