My take
In Response To: A SHORT MONTE CARLO STORY ()

The vast majority of people in the U.S. have lost or never had respect for tradition when it comes to things like casinos. They assume they are bright lights, loud, active and in general a party party place.
Many of the casinos in Europe require a minimum of suit and tie for men and long dress for women to enter. For non-members there is an entry fee or a sponsor requirement.
I was dressed in slacks and long sleeve shirt and my wife in slacks and blouse and neiter of us would have considered trying to enter.
Just my personal opinion so please no flames.
