I have a HP Scanjet 3970 and use MS Picture it software. It scans OK on all colors except white. The results are poor as the attached scan of the new eureka attests. Using a dark green felt for background helps a little but results still poor. Anyone having/had similar problem and if so is there a way to overcome? If not, what is the best all around scanner for chips? Do not want to use photoshop. TKS
