NCR: Dumb accounting question

Any accountants out there want to give a would-be antique & crafts dealer some free advice? Okay, here is the scoop. I was sitting around grousing about work today and decided I needed to start a little side business selling crafts and antiques (old antiques from my years of collecting, a bunch of 30 year old baseball cards, etc.... )

Here's the question I was pondering while driving down the road today: If I decided to start a little business (Sole Proprietership or LLC), I'd probably have to value that stuff in my bookkeeping somehow. How do you value stuff you that have no clue what you paid for at this point?

Just a curious question from the Accounting-impaired.
