Always! That's my new mantra. Last year I skipped Steve Fischer's Showgirl presentation (love the guy too!) and I certainly rued that dumb move. After stuffing myself with breakfast at the Peppermill I went next door to get some cash offa Steve Wynn, usually a Friday morning slam dunk as I'm way up on that guy. Got a free cup of coffee...for only $200 down the money slot at the green chip 21 table by the door. Ah nuts, well I'll do an end run on him and hit his other joints. Drive down to the four corners and hit the Luxor as my luck's always good there. Down $100 at the Pyramid and hit Monte Carlo for +$100 and another hundy up at Bellagio. Geez, you can't invent better characters than you'll find at the tables at Caesar's and the old timer dealing had some great stories to spin while he relieved me of another $200. Monorail back to MGM, get the car out back there at the Trop and collected a grapefruit sized dent in my fender in a totally wierd incident while sitting in my parked car at the Riv garage. Sigh. Hung out with Steve (Fischer, not Wynn ) for awhile on the show floor so that helped... until I lost some more out on the Riviera tables. Always go to the seminars. Always.
