We had a chance to spend a few days on St. Kitts in the summer of 2007. While the Marriott has opened a beautiful new Casino in their hotel, there is still the original Royal St. Kitts casino across the street that is open. This casino is now on their 3rd issue of chips and unfortunately they have gotten less exciting each time. Wish I had asked when the casino originally opened but I forgot. Anybody know how long the orginal casino has been on St. Kitts? The first issue is the fantastic old scroll mold. Then they went to the H&C issue which is also very nice. Sadly the 3rd issue is the plain Bud Jones CIC issue.

Anybody have the old $5.00 Scroll mold chip they would like to sell or trade?

I think the $1 Scroll mold chip from this casino is one of my favorites of all the Caribbean. I'm pretty sure it is "hard to find", don't know about "RARE". I've only seen one on ebay and it is the one I got. As I reported in the Carribean newsletter, the casino manager told me none of the older chips are available (even in the cage).
