Christmas Eve I gave my father an early BDay/Father's Day gift that he won't forget.

It's been over 20 years since he & I had a Father/Son gathering so I decided to give him a trip to Vegas in early May (Derby weekend). We are staying 6 days so he can see everything ! This will be his FIRST trip ever out there and he is excited. Just bought the airline tickets...2 tix Hartford/Vegas NONSTOP both ways...$430 !! Also getting tix for Bette Midler.

and a BONUS....I'm trying to get my younger brother to fly for the weekend to come there and suprise him so we can make it a COMPLETE FATHER/SONS weekend. He has to get permission from his wife (who will be 8 months pregant with my godchild). So we'll see !!

Wanted to get him out there in June for the Convention but I knew that if he met Cashman, Dennis, etc....he would embarass me somehow. LOL
