I get close to 100 SPAM e-mails a day and I don't think there is a lot I can do about it once it starts other than change to a different e-mail address.

One thing a person can do is use Microsoft Outlook to retrieve your e-mail and set up rules to deal with the SPAM. You set it up to look for certain words in the subject and/or body and then tell the program what to with the SPAM. For example, I have Outlook send the SPAM directly to the "Deleted Items" folder.
