Well Ralph. In general that's about all you need to do. But remember that just having a full drive isn't what is making it run slow. What is running slow? The browser? The startup of the computer? Something else?

If its the computer in general, its more likely something else such as the programs that are starting up and running resident in memory. Go to the start menu, select "run" then type in MSCONFIG. The last tab is called "Startup" Go through the programs in that list and tell us what they are and, if we can shut them off it will make things speed up. The other possibility is something that called Operating System Decay. Although XP is a lot better than 95/98/ME, it still suffers from leaving stuff lying around in the system that will slow it down. Eventually you'll want to back up your important files and rebuild the OS from scratch. I'd wait until SP3 is released in a couple of months.
