"Toronto film critic found dead"

I first met John Harkness at my first BARGE in 1998. Over the years we played against each other at various BARGE tournaments & even played together in the team event a couple of times. John won the BARGE No Limit event in 1999. He also made the final table of the $3,000 buy in WSOP 7 Stud H/L tournament last year. He came in 4th, winning $47,000.

The picture below is of the final table the year that John won the BARGE No Limit tournament. He is at the top of the table with his arms crossed. I'm sweating his action over his right shoulder, the one wearing sunglasses.

I know that Ross Poppel knew John. I had also introduced Jay Sands to John during Jay's 1st BARGE two years ago. And maybe Greg Susong at the same time. There might even be a few more who read this board who knew John. John was a very active member of the BARGE community & will be missed. Click the link below for the story. Andy - Las Vegas
