UPS and Fed Ex have a deal with the city. They only pay a few cents on the dollar. IM not sure of the exact figure.

I don't mind the meters. They have made finding spots so much easier. What I hate is when I park in unmetered spots you must move the truck every 30 mins. I almost got a ticket once for that. If I have 4 customers on one block I move my truck back and forth to avoid a ticket.
