Poker Player Chip Reese has passed away! sad

Those of us who have been around the poker world for years, have either known or knew of Chip Reese for many years. Those of you who are fairly new to the poker world, no doubt saw that Chip won the $50,000 buy in World Series of Poker H.O.R.S.E. tournament in 2006.

Chip was considered one of the best all around poker players in the world & played in the highest stakes games for over 30 years. I had first heard of him before I even moved here in 1980. I use to play in the old Silver Bird poker room back in the late 70's whenever I would come to Las Vegas. Chip & Doyle Brunson managed that room together back then.

Chip passed away in his sleep this morning, he was only 56. It's a sad day in the world of poker. sad Andy - Las Vegas
