Not that I am an expert on CIC chips but I have never seen a cracked one, I did get a counterfeit Silver Bird Las Vegas chip from a seller on eBay with very high 100% positive feedback, it didn't cost much but I was surprised that a chip seller with so much experience wouldn't know that it was counterfeit.
