Does this sound familiar?

As for the rental car and driving on the island, all I can say is it was an adventure driving in the daytime..and downright insane at night.

Imagine this if you will:

-You drive on the left side of the road
-The steering wheel is on the right side of the car
-There are no street signs (except in downtown St. Johns)
-There are no street lights
-The roads are covered in pot holes
-There are no lane lines or edge lines
-There are goats EVERYWHERE (and they have no fear of cars)
-There are roaming dogs EVERYWHERE
-The local drivers have no fear of oncoming cars and pass anytime and anywhere they please ...most of the time I think without even looking
-The young men of the island love dirtbike style motorcycles. They drive at extremely high speeds and weave in and out of traffic crossing over into oncoming traffic, only to dart back at the last minute. -Speed limit is 40 Kmph, but the locals all, drive 60-70! even at night!
