I'm in the same boat, so I completely understand where your coming from. Luckily, I live driving distance (however with todays gas price, ti will still cost me $140 for the drive), and I have a really good friend who lives out near redrock that is more than happy to let me crash on his couch. that just means that I have an extra $200 to $300 to put into the pockets of a few of the lucky vendors. If I had to pay for a room, I couldn't buy anything.
