I would suggest that you ask the authors of those reference books Sheldon. Sometimes a "lie" becomes "fact" when repeated often enough ... or goes un-challenged. Suppose I had listed this chip in the next issue of my Puerto Rico Catalog because an ebayer claimed it was from Puerto Rico ... it now becomes legitimized?

My issue is with the seller who claims that the chip is from Puerto Rico ... which it is not! Ask the seller "jessicahahn" where she got her information from. Why are you letting her off the hook? Had the seller claimed the chip was from California, I would not have raised the question. In fact, I would not have even bothered to look at her auction since I don't collect California chips and have no interest in them.
