... I didn't realize they killed the gator until I read the whole story. That was terrible, they should have made an exception (to the Florida law) for this one and maybe deputized it, or used it like a K-9 unit. I can see it now... criminals are holed up and the guy on the bull horn says, "Come out now or we're sending in the gator! Oh, by the way he ain't too smart but he's really hungry!"
