Some casinos/cardrooms offer a bad beat jackpot (BBJ). There are rules as to what hands constitute a bad beat. Normally, there is a percentage from the rake that goes into the bad beat. I've never seen a chip strictly devoted for a bad beat. I usually play in AC, but have played in Las Vegas, So Cal, Seattle area, and in Minn and none of those areas I believe have a chip like that. You have yourself a nice chip.
