Please let me know what you think about them and if you have any other information.

These are a new find to me and I think to most chip collectors.

I think they are California chips from the SANDS CLUB at 3850 San Pablo Ave. in Emeryville California 1970's.

Small things add up to this feeling.
1. I bought them in the Emeryville area and not the New York area (big deal)
2. Sands Club had Chinese characters and the English word EXCELLENT on their Diamond Square mold house chips.

3. These chips have the same Chinese characters and the English word EXCELLENT.

4. A $20 chip is mainly from card rooms.
5. One side of all the chips shows a building that might be the Sands Club.

To me they look like a 1970’s try at a plastic injection-mold chip. The interior white core and edge lines (4 on each chip) do not form the smoothest connection with the body of the chip. They are over 1 5/8 inch in diameter and over 1/8 inch thick. For being a plastic chip they feel heavy to me.

They are in good shape for what I think is about 30 years old. The dollar amount, Chinese characters and lettering were in a gold color at one time. You would be lucky to see any gold on the ones I am selling now. I do have some with the gold lettering still showing but they will not be for sale until I know more about these chips (they most likely will be sold at a premium)
