New Brighton Tower... a group who ran some of the better-known casinos years back.

The monogrammed chips/jetons first popped up in the late-80s, and we had no idea where they were from. Then, one day while discussing Playboy Casino notes with Ian Sutton of Sheffield (early-90s), he mentioned while doing some research reading thru older Sunday Times newspapers he found New Brighton Tower notes. I then reported his find in our club magazine...

Very common. Found at coin shows in UK and Europe
I should have said chips are common, not plaques.
Italian speaking region of Switzerland, perhaps?
