Déj Vu. Not quite...but
In Response To: Super Show plane tickets ()

I guess not that many people fly London to Vegas for superbowl weekend. grin
When I booked my flight, all the dates around superbowl were not only available, but also the cheapest in Jan/Feb. Go figure.

Now, on to Enterprise. Next week we are on a cruise from LA to Mexico. When we get back, we are heading 60 miles south to stay with friends (ex next door neighbours) for 4 days as we usually do.
Enterprise came up as surprisingly they are the only rental company to have a facility at the port. They were also the cheapest by half for a 4 day rental at that time.
First thing I noticed was that all their LA locations except the airport only open 9 to 5.
I wanted to book pickup at the ship and drop off at the airport. Website said it had to be done by phone. When I phoned they said I had to call the UK office and do it through them. When I called that office they said they couldnt book it like that.
Other option was to shuttle or taxi from the dock to the airport and book the car from there. Extra $40 cost but still cheaper than the next, or so I thought - rentals from the airport are more because of the cost of the facility - they have a built in $40 surcharge.
I was on the verge of going with someone else when I tried googling for the phone number of the actual facility at the port and eventually found it.
I called them direct and they booked it in less than a minute - $157 including tax/insurance/tank of gas. grin
