She also got to see the semi-final when England beat France and the 3rd place playoff between France and Argentina the night before the final. (IMO this was the best match - and that is often the way)

I dont get to as much live sport as I used to but I have been to over 1,000 professional sporting events. Most of these were soccer in my younger days.

Ive always followed Rugby but not 'live' until the last few years. We are lucky we have one of the worlds top 'club' teams (London Wasps) only 5 minutes from here. Several of the current players (including the England captain) used to go to Charlotte's school so they give regular free tickets. She is no stranger to the big crowds either. Our clubs final match of the 2006/07 season drew a bigger crowd than the world cup final (86,000)
