An Ohio collector found these in a flea market and sent me one of each.
Both are the same. 25¢ on obverse.
Burnt Orange one is in TCR.
Both are UNC.
Ewing mold on the orange 25¢ was struck on matted die
Ewing mold on the white 25¢ was struck from polished dies similar to the CJ shiny hat mold.
The white one was run thru the hot stamping process without the gold foil.
Has anyone seen the white one before?
