My father taught me to put my hand over my heart, and I taught my children the same. Maybe Obama's father wasn't as familiar with the flag code as my dad was. On the other hand, are you more likely to vote for Hillary because she does follow the proper custom? Or might there be a kernel of truth when Obama says that it's what's in his heart that may count most?

I guess my pet peeve is political candidates who drive foreign cars. Still, I would hesitate to let that stand in the way of a candidate who best advances my agenda.

Alas, I won't be voting for anyone in that photo anyway, even if they know all the verses to the National Anthem.
