Gene is definitely 100% correct

Here is a simple explanation. (Its 3.30am and Im going to sleep grin )
Any cards that you do not 'hold' have to be released back into the deck for the re-draw.
Lets say 5D is in the first column and you dont hold it. It can re-appear in another column (and often does)
Therefore impossible that two lots of cards are drawn at the first deal.
