You made no attempt to defraud or deceive anyone. You acted with the prior approval of the vendor. Ebay policy allows you the end the auction early. Seems to me that the people complaining are just upset that they lost out on your auction. If they wanted the token, they should have placed the high bid. Sometimes if you hesitate, you lose. Not your problem.
