Hi John.... everything done...

to a chip is history. A drink spilled stain, a cigarette burn, an oiled up chip from hand use, a club owner washing his dirty old chips, and even a Dave W. special. I don't think you will ever know a chips total history. My guess is that some day a few chippers will consider a Dave W. special a big prize and those chips will sell and trade at a premium because of their HISTORY (only if you can prove it is a true Dave W. chip). History is everything that happens to a chip, everyone just picks the history they like, some collectors like dirty old beat up chips and some like them looking nice, I have both types in my collection and prize them all even if I don't know their total history, I just like chips and sometimes the history is fun.

Having fun Steve

... appreciate your comments as always.
No problem, simply explaining what I call a prize.
I guess I am just lucky, they are all prizes to me
Same here, but Rich's remark was:
Leave a c&s in the sun & you have a prize.
It's not a matter of "leaving" a C&S in the sun ..
