Actually....I've gotten pretty darned good at picking out the dominican and hatian knock off. Although...some I've had a re no too bad. I have friends that pick me up cigars that are obviously knock offs. I of course thanks them very much and still smoke them. Some are actually pretty good.

I remember sitting on the beach in the Dominican and having guys come up to sell me cigars, at very high prices. The boxes were so nasty, and clearly not Hubana cigars...labels slapped on sideways with bad printing. I even had one with Montecristo spelled incorrectly!!

One the other hand, I've had some amazing prices sometime on some fantastic cigars. I usually tell the guy "this is crap" if you have any real ones come see me. Well the last time, the guy said he can get them, but they are expensive. I told him to save it for the people that don;t know cigars. I told him I wanted MonteCristo #5, or same size in Cohiba, and a few others. He left for a while and then came back with a new canvas bag with 10 different boxes of top end cigars. Cohibas in a glass top wooden box with tetched glass. He offered them to me for 500 a box, but after a bit of nigotiations and giving him a bottle of water, I bought them for 125.00! Also bought some others for the deal. No question on them all being the real thing.

As for the Kalik: Y U M !!!!! Maybe some Nassau Royale rum drinks for good measure. Ok.....you ready for a trip there?? Come on...join us Novemeber 15th!
