Most of the time, if you ask a question, you'll get an honest answer.

Yes, there are dealers and people who make money on chips. The difference is that we share information freely, unlike some other "hobbies" where the insiders control the knowledge and the dealers write the price guides, for their own gain. There are always going to be people making some profit, buying and selling, and some people like myself, who are just collectors. If there were no dealers, where would you go for that hard to find chip? Dealers also have inventory, overhead, risks and expenses, unlike you or I do.

I have contended from the first day I joined the club, that I've never been involved in any interest or hobby, that is so free about sharing information. This is because the people who founded the club, and the same one you are trying to sling mud at, insisted that integrity and honesty be the foundation of the CCGTCC.

Gimbles may not tell Macy's, but in this hobby, most everyone will tell you what they know, when you ask a direct question about a chip or casino.
