"The reference to "R-8, High book value of $700.00 " is factually accurate - even though the book's information may be obsolete by now."

I could never understand how any cataloguer knows how many chips are out there at any given point in time. I have a fairly stubstantial collection of older Nevada chips that even I have not drafted an inventory list of what chips I personally own ... so how would a cataloger know what any collector, or group of collectors, has?
