Hey all--tonight I am going to be looking at a bunch of chips that a friend of a friend got at a flea market. I have no idea yet as to what denoms they are or condition or anything. This guy bought a whole bunch of them, I guess, has sold a bunch on eBay (don't know his eBay name), and is having me look at what's left. I was told that the chips are in binders. That sort of raised a flag with me, and I got to thinking about people in the club who have had their collections stolen. How would I know if these chips had been stolen?? Is there anything I should be suspicious of or be looking for in particular? I will try to find out all I can about them, but not knowing the guy "directly" might make that difficult. Does the club keep a list of members who have had their collections stolen? Any advice in these matters would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
