Christie Hefner made an application for a Playboy Gaming licence for London last week.
In a statement she said she was in talks with a London casino group for a joint venture (ala Palms) if the application failed.
Interestingly enough, she had done a joint venture deal with Ladbrokes in 1999 just weeks before they unexpectedly sold out to Gala so that never went ahead. Playboy opens its first ever european retail store on Oxford Street (planned in time for xmas) and it was indicated the projects might be interlinked.

'Aspers', a joint venture between 'rich men' Damian Aspinall (son of the late John - once owner of most the most prestigious London private casino clubs) and James Packer (son of the late Kerry), opened in Swansea, Wales last week. This follows a smaller venture which opened in Newcastle last year. The resort complex is advertised as the largest in Europe. Quite how this got past gaming regs I dont know, and until I received this invite on Saturday Id never heard of the project
Flyer says that the gaming floor itself is 46,000 square feet. Given they only have the allowed dozen slot machines that seems like a fair size.
Unfortunately its 200+ miles from here and pretty remote so unlikely I will venture there for some time.
