Based upon the responses to Monte Schuff's query on Thursday (at my request) and my 12 hours of searching, THERE PROBABLY ARE NO H&C/H&C VERSIONS OF THE $2.50.
I did get the following:
20 UNC $1 LCV/LCV (these are the only chips I was able to buy from the cage and the nice lady was able to get them from an uncirculated rack of 100 in the safe).
All the rest of the chips are from the tables and are all SU (have no wear, feel uncirculated, but have tiny nicks or show use by having some dirt).
34 $1 LCV/H&C
4 $1 H&C/H&C (very scarce-as I looked through over 500 $1 chips).
46 $2.50 LCV/H&C
25 $2.50 LCV/LCV
3 $5 LCV/LCV
3 $5 LCV/H&C
3 $5 H&C/H&C
It is interesting that I only had to look at about 50 $5 to get these 9, so it seems to me that the H&C/H&C is not as rare on the $5.
For those of you who do not know me, I only deal in less than $5 denomination chips (liquidating all my $5 chips). Therefore, I did not look at the $25 chips and above. Sorry, but it was not a fun day.
I do have some offers to make to all of you who happen to read this post. I will give you first crack at buying these chips, before I put any on eBay. I FURTHER PROMISE THAT I WILL NOT SELL ANY SETS OFFERED BELOW FOR LESS THAN WHAT I AM OFFERING HERE.
