Hi, and I don't know why anyone would want to take a file to it. It was in the box of Las Vegas memorabilia I inherited from my deceased father, who was Chief of Police, and I'm sure he would not have done that for any reason. He loved Vegas and went there starting in the 1930's until his death in 1977. I'm sure the chip came back with him from there and was put away. My photo is a very bad photo of the chip, as it is much better. I will stand by that no one took a file to it, and think it's just handling from wherever and whenever in it's career as 'a chip' before it was packed away. Thank you. Dee
