NO LIE:I live on a fairly short block in a fairly quiet neighborhood.Every day around 10:30,the mail delivery truck parks about 4 doors away and the carrier delivers in our area.Takes her about 30 minutes to do the route.She does this every day EXCEPT on Fridays,when her truck rarely stops in the neighborhood at all?! Seriously,I used to think that it was weird that I rarely got mail on Fridays and could not figure it out as I get mail almost every day.So,I was off on a Friday and doing some lawn work and noticed that she never showed up one day.Hmmmm...I thought that perhaps she had changed her time and forgot about it,but I got around to asking my neighbors about mail and they all said the same thing....mail rarely shows up on Friday.
Sure enough,the past month I have been around the house doing yard work and/or refinishing and never saw hide nor hair of the truck 3 out of the 4 Fridays.
You are telling me that no one in these 30 houses on our block had any mail/bills/flyers to be delivered on those days.Hmmmmmm.....long weekends anyone?
