This guy on Millionaire had to answer a question about what Richard Sears sold to begin the Sears empire. Of course it was watches.

I have an old hand written crib book from the railroad he worked for. It lists Richard Sears as, "dependable." This was written by the Chief Train Dispatcher.

Any idea if it has any value...

Probably nobody that collects "Sears" stuff but I just thought it was kind of neat.
