Tan grin
In Response To: TCR#'s for new chips? ()

This is another chip with white inlays and one side is light brown or tan. As I posted yesterday, the roll of paper used for inlays is similar to an adding machine tape that is colored pink near the end of the roll to let you know that a new tape is needed. It is a chip that should have be caught by quality control and is thought to be a defect, not a valuable error collectors item. grin

The inlay column in TCR has only 11 spaces, leaving only 5 spaces for the base color. Therefore, to show a different color on the reverse (/), we had to abbreviate white as "WH" and tan as "TN". We do the best we can with what we have to work with. grin

As for assigning new TCR numbers, we do it every day. I have been supplying them for club members as long as you ask for a few at a time. I don't have time to respond to a long list and if we give them all out, we won't sell many books, whenever we get around to publishing one. We have given Paul Hegge and Larry Hollibaugh permission to use many new numbers on their fantastic web sites, as they do not charge a fee for reading their sites.
